    I don't know what select attribute means, but...
    call att:  Should be only one <item> with call='1'.  This is the
     item selected (recursively) via getSelectedItem().

tree.enableSmartXMLParsing(true) only available for Professional version.
    (API spec says to use 1 not true, in one place).

API is wrong for params to getAllUnchecked().  There is no param.

getAll() return '' (0 length string) for empty list.  (Not null or undefined).

Absolute paths don't seem to work for the dhtml*.js files.
