The multimedia installation procedure wipes libyui-*-pkg* packages, so run: zypper install libyui-ncurses-pkgX (where X is 4 for 12.3, 5 for 13.1) Then install libyui-qt-pkgX with: DISPLAY= yast2 sw_single (v.6 for 13.2) DO NOT USE vlan REPOSITORY Must manually install package libyui-qt-pkg4 on thin X hosts or some yast2 modules won't work with X. (Does get installed with full KDE install) "Taboo" NetworkManager, SuSEfirewall2. Don't need to taboo anything for apparmor any more. yast2 cui definitely needs libyui-ncurses-pkg4 (Does get installed with full KDE install) Generally probably good to install yast2-inetd (or similar) (Does get installed with full KDE install) Need for NFS client: yast2-something like daemon or services then enable and start rpcbind
