As of 2014-11-09, the 13.2 KDE is severely screwed up.
Set these 2 packages to protected: kdebase4-workspace-*
If you do, you won't be able to get window frame titles or resize arrows.

Must blacklist
    NetworkManager
    SuSEfirewall2
    amarok
    patterns-openSUSE-apparmor
or they will come back

The preceding 4 items should appear in sw_single's "Instal.." tab at startup.


Do verify that libyui-qt-pkg6 installed originally so can run Yast2 graphically.

There is FGLRX available yet for 13.2.

Some Perl dependencies of genius, gvim, inkscape, git not present, but seem to work other than what is described below.
Get about 5 warnings when try to do full package update, with no good alternaties, so do DNI.

Some perl dependency of gvim not present.  Work-around:
export LD_LIBRARY_PATH=/usr/lib/perl5/5.20.1/x86_64-linux-thread-multi/CORE


No /var/log/messages by default.  Use journalctl to view system messages.
To put back to old-fashioned, install rsyslog rpm.
