These are VESA modes + 512.
Somebody says you can prefix with "x" to enter in hex, but that hasn't worked
for me.

In running linux, "hwinfo --framebuffer" lists the modes which should work
(with offset applied, but in hex).  At least on one of my computer, all of
the resolutions listed do not work.
